A CASE STUDY

CHALLENGE
A third generation family business found itself in an extremely competitive situation without funds or the youthful energy demanded by the industry. The owner/manager prepared a business plan to facilitate the sale of the business, but was experiencing difficulty in implementing the selling process. Importantly, if the employees or competitors became aware of the intention to sell, the owner/manager would be seriously disadvantaged.

SOLUTION
We critiqued his business plan, suggested several improvements, and assisted in establishing both a reasonable asking price and favorable selling terms. Then we helped to successfully implement the selling plan. The owner/manager is now comfortably retired.
